well - sky is red and looks polluted almost mars quality - inhabitable which therefore causes some of the bush's and tree's to die - thats why you have sticks and in the background bottom left just empty rock - the only life is the tree's that are likely feeding off of the contaminated water in the ground which gives them the strange eerie contours - so I would say - this is taken in Al Gore's backyard
