I need a bit of help here.
I am embedding a video onto an html page and have run into a couple of snags. Here's what I have so far:

In IE it appears to be working ok, the autostart is "false" so it shows the bg image and waits for the user to press play.
In FF it auto-plays despite the autoplay setting of false.
My main concern here however, is that the video auto-loads in the background no matter what.
I would like it if it didn't do that to save on bandwidth, and rather that it streamed.
Anyone got any hints here?
