They don’t legalize pot because they can't tax it! They are talking about decriminalizing pot in Canada, which would be a great thing! It still won't be legal but rather than getting a criminal record you just get a fine, like a parking ticket. If you get caught with over 30 grams it will be a criminal offence… that’s over an ounce! Damn if you carry over an ounce on you, you either need treatment or better pot!

Pot is far different than alcohol, it’s a completely different reaction, no one smokes pot and then tries to act tough and start a fight (unless it’s over the last bit of munchies in house:-) But both pot and alcohol affect the way you drive, you are not paying 100% attention and you have a slower reaction time. I’m not preaching because I’m guilty of smoking and driving, the way I see it who am I going to kill driving at 10 miles an hour:-)
