My very first job was for the Albuquerque Journal in New Mexico. I was around 11 yrs old and got a job selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door with other kids.

I forget how much they paid me but I do remember using my first check to buy some new gear for my freestyle bike

A friend of mine used his first check to buy a Playboy mag from another kid in school, LOL
