Well Shann, I like it mainly because of the ICQ alerts. It's worth it just for that in my opinion. Any keyword at all that you specify that shows up in a thread on any board that BT monitors will notify you via ICQ and then it's one click to the mention so that you can immediately reply to it.

You don't have to look through all the boards this way. Just post to the couple of boards you like on a daily basis as normal, and monitor the others.
May I add some?

When you get alerts on Email - it shows you which of the keywords you have in your alert search term triggered the alert on that thread

know these multiple posts on all message boards some people do?
BoardTracker can shrink them all for you into one entity (saving you time and patience) or eliminate spam altogether.

You can also search threads by author or search authors (board members) based on their details (icq/homepage/..)

You can also track (like bookmark) specific threads on the boards and get alerts when they are updated (good for boards with poor notifications like oprano or TLA etc.., or for keeping track on thread that are interesting to you in the long term or ones that you want to track but don't want to reply to yet).

If someone annoying you and you don't care about what he/she says, you can add them to your ignore-list and no more will you see or be notified about threads they start.

You will soon be able to get alerts on threads started by specific authors. So if you hire a boardwhore, you can see what threads s/he starts
and more more
