When I get in the mood to toy shop, I won't buy anything over 8.5 inches long and thicker than 2, maybe 2.5 inches, depending on design and if the the thickness is tapered or not. The huge monster cock stuff doesn't appeal to me in toys. It's a fantasy thing only. I don't need 10+ inches with a width of 3-7 inches pounding into me to get me off. I look at those monster cocks and the first thing that comes to mind is "That has to hurt."

It doesn't matter if you use the whole length or not. They just look more appealing. The ones that are only 3-5 inches long with a width of maybe a half inch to an inch, don't do much visually for me.
