open up icq
go..
main - spam control - click the top box (accept messages only from my contact list) - then if you need for someone new to contact you or to add them to your contact list then you get them to email you first their icq # and you control the contacts..
It should work, i just installed icq light and =( lost my old 3766926 number. nows its like 29 pages long of numbers =(
