I got a cat, Ive had 5 in my life so far, and I love them, but it can be a good idea not to have them though,

last time I checked, "exposure" to cats and allergens (I think its called that..), can make people of all ages allergic, but I think it was the younger, the easier.

So in a sense, its better not to "expose" younger children to cats and dogs, to try and prevent them from developing allergies...

But you guys do what you feel is best...

Just a thought tho..
