Looking at those galleries again for yourself,
I had noticed that your text color:#DB6D00 , & link color:#E10000
On gallery #008 too my eyes the color of the link and text look almost the same, meaning without reading the link text I would not know where
to click. Same can be noticed on #009 also.
#011 I see the background color is kind of hinding the link.
My guess is that #010 and #012 would have received the higher ctr
between the 5 of them, ofcourse if all 5 received the same exposure.
