With the first dream basically your mind is trying to work out a problem that you may be dealing with at the time. The first explanation might make some sense the way you explain it, but the 2nd one I don't think so.

FB always reminds me that if I talk about old army stories with my buddies, I will dream about it in the couple of days to come. It usually works out that way.
