Default Your opinion on Free Trials...

With fewer sponsors offering free trial options, what do you think is the future of free trials?
Do you think they'll go away or start making a comeback?

And for affiliates, is the free trial option still a very lucrative sell, or do you push different options more, and if so, which ones do the best for you?

I haven't pushed free trials in quite a long time, so I couldn't give to a good answer right now.
I should get back into it a little and see what happens.

I would imagine that sponsors will continue to experiment with free trials as long as people are willing to promote them.

There's a lack of trust among the masses when it comes to programs and their use of the "free" model as a means to boost traffic. With the word "free" many automatically assume that means shaving, leeching, cross sells, shady upsells and every other dirty trick in the book.

Some of us have been baited by such programs only to be negatively biased by our experiences.

I think we'll continue to see more and more programs using limited trials in place of free lor even low priced trials as a general trend.
