Unlikely as that sounds, it's a serious scientific mission.

Cattle around the world produce huge amounts of methane, a powerful gas, which accounts for about a fifth of the greenhouse effect.

The methane cows belch out every day floats into the stratosphere to join carbon dioxide and other gases holding in the Sun's reflected heat and causing the Earth's temperature to soar, with potentially disastrous effects. But researchers at the Rowett Research Institute in Aberdeen say they are close to producing a bovine belch-inhibitor.

It is a combination of sugars and a novel oxidising bacterium. The scientists believe that, when added to cows' feed, the new substance might reduce the gaseous emissions substantially.

Let's hope so. Bad breath is one thing. Wrecking the atmosphere for us all is another.

Yeah, well, it's also part of the Gaia-Vegan agenda to harass meat eaters with all sorts of reasons not to eat beef, and a way to run some global agenda and social engineering of populaces.

I suggest as a great alleviating measure that we DDT-out termites, but somehow, they don't like the suggestion.


One thing that we never hear about by the Gaia activists is that the SUN itself is most likely contributing way more to earth warming than all human and natural activity together. In all their models, they assume the sun output is constant. It is NOT the case. But their myth is NOT to be challenged.


All their statistics of earth warming are going up to when the earth was pretty cold, but the truth is, a hundred years ago, the temperatures were as hot as today, even more. And also, there was a "mini-ice age" in the 1600's.

As for the ocean level, a very carefully documented average water level mark was discovered, with all scientific methodology and procedures used, this mark established from data carefully gathered for years, and it shows the mark to be ABOVE the present sea level , i.e. the sea is now LOWER than it was at some time in the last few hundred of years.

I don't think it is cows passing gas or belching, hairsprays and other aerosols that are causing the ozone to deplete, I think it's the Iams dog food my dog eats, and my roommate when he eats red beet eggs, (well actually most everything he eats), that's a major contributing factor to the ozone depletion problem.
