I have been a Eudora user for years now. I particularly liked this line:

If the user is socially engineered into clicking on the link...

Translation.... most people will click anything that arrives in their email.

The reason I love Eudora is that most email viruses and worms are specifically written to attach Microsoft email programs such as Outlook and Outlook Express. 99% of these that arrive in a Eudora Inbox don't know what to do when they get there. Plus, Eudora works in absolute perfect harmony with Norton defenses...

When I upgrade, I'll keep an eye open for the new patch.

Yeah, I've been with Eudora since '98. I just upgraded to 5.2... seems to work all fine. I'm not worried that much about the virii I just get so many of those and I normally don't click anything in my email. You see, most of that stuff is in English where it sounds like a friend but most real Emails I receive are in Swiss German. So if one of my buddies just got one of those virii that self-reproduces and an email in English arrives I know it's not a real one...
