I don't see anything wrong with it. People do all kinds of things in domain name wars for a variety of reasons. If the domain has dropped, for whatever reason, it is fair game. If someone steals domains and then tries to sell them, that is one issue. If the domain is legally up for sale, it's fair game.
It's just the electronic version of going to garage sales, auctions, or flea markets. The items up for sale are all stuff someone else once owned, but is being placed for sale for whatever reason.
Ok. Maybe that isn't the best analogy, but people buy and sell stuff all the time. Expired domains are no different.
