How to stop smoking?

I have found that i'm smoking already about 2 packs/day..
Are there any smokers who have stopped smoking?
Can you give any advice? It woluld be really interesting to listen..

The way to stop smoking is the same as the way to stop doing anything else.

Humans are creatures of habit. Examine what you are doing when you get a craving for a cigarette, and do things to create a new behavior instead. If you notice that you usually go for a smoke mid-morning, and notice that your workload tends to lighten up at about that time, either use that time to do low-stress work, or to call a significant other, etc. If you replace the behavior with something else you enjoy, it will go much easier.

for some smockers it is really hard to stop smocking.
you know, my dad said to me that he started to smoke when he is only 14 years old, and until now...
glad i don't smoke or else i will have more than the packs you used to lol
well, why not try always to chew a candy mentol would be great!

well said fetishlady... to quit is not an easy task it requires self discipline..you'll expereience withrawal so a few cut on sticks each day would help alot...Good Luck!
