Business startup advice?

Hi, I'm new and hope this is in the right forum; forgive me if its not, just thought this be the right place to ask my question. I am wanting to start my own phone sex operator business, I and other people I know would be doing the phone work. I was just wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to get started, because it seems so overwelming and I don't know where to begin! For example: Could I set up my own 800 number through my own phone company? and could the phone company set it up so that calls are routed to my 800 number? or would I have to have another company do this? and how would I handle payments? I've been doing research, but there's so much info; it makes your head spin! Thanks in advance
