Sherie, would you believe that I saw Duran Duran in 1984 in Toronto (Maple Leaf Gardens)... Someone had an extra ticket to the sold out show so I went.

It was absolutely crazy in there. Could barely hear the music from all the screaming. I somehow doubt there will be as much screaming tonight. Have fun!

I remember that show, i didn't go but i know i was in grade 8 and i was a rocker, so i made fun of the kids with duran duran shirts! lol I of course was a secret new waver and video obsessed but I couldnt let my crew find out! hahaha

Seriously though, they don't look that bad at all. I've seen them in the wee hours of the morning on MTV. Their new music is ok, but I'm not excited about them as I was in the '80's.

I admit, part of me would want to go just to hear them play the 80's songs, but part of me thinks it wouldn't be as cool now as it was when I was a teen.

I hope you have a good time! If nothing at all, it's a night out with the girls!

Duran Duran played at Kaul House...which used to be the Warehouse

This was my third time seeing them....and I have to say that even though the concert was good...I was somewhat disappointed. When they were in Toronto three summers ago I think it was, playing at the Molson Amplitheatre....they rocked the house...played all of their hits....its was an amazing show.

This show...I guess because they are going to be releasing a new CD next year, they played a few too many songs off the new CD, and didn't play some of the hits I thought they would play.

But I danced, and sang along, and watched Simon shake his money maker!!! he he

My favourite song was "The Reflex"...

Do u know if they plan to tour in Europe??

They played some new songs which i know we were all lost at, but the old tunes rocked! Nice venue to see them in b/c it was so small, I always have fun with Purple Haze, Diva and Sherie!
