Is it just me?

Ok, so I decided to use my desktop box at home for a bit tonight. The board loads/parses very quickly. Now on my new laptop (beefy) the screens seem to take forever to load (about 10 seconds per page). So I guess the question is does anyone else have that problem on a laptop? This is the only site which does it for me, so I just assumed conjestion or something was the cause.

try deleting your temp files and cache

Nope, doesn't seem to have any effect. This is pretty strange.

Make sure your laptop has the latest versions of Flash - it could be outdated since many of the banners here are flash.
