Promoting sites and making joins
Many affiliates these days seem to just want one thing when it comes to promoting a sponsor in particular.... CONTENT and lots of it. This will sound obvious, but I think that giving the affiliate all the content they want isn't helping anyone in the long term. It saturates the market with free content, dispersing pics and vids everywhere, thereby giving potential joins less and less reasons to pay to see what they want.
By limiting the amount of promotional content given to affiliates, they tend to teach themselves new ways to make sales. These are what I consider to be very important affiliates who are using what they have to work with to make sales in ways that others may not have thought of. They aren't just creating gallery after gallery and pushing them out onto the TGP/MGP/Tube pool of traffic day after day. They're using other proven ways to promote sites, and they're coming up with new strategies as well. Strategies that don't necessarily include flooding the market with free content.
You won't hear these webmasters talking about how their joins are way down either, or that this or that sponsor isn't doing well for them. A lack of joins doesn't just boil down to the sponsor, it's about how effective affiliates promote that sponsor, and their own sites.
