I don't fly.
These guys aren't the reason, but never running into them *is* a nice little benefit of not flying.
I've wasted precious moments of my life trying to come up with a line for "the red case" but I've decided just to shudder and move on....

I "appreciate" the song as opposed to "relating" to it. I've found that most of the bands I like make music that I could never "relate" to. For example, I adore the Eagles, but what I do is analyze the use of poetic device in their lyrics. They lived a life so far removed from my own that I could never possibly relate to what they experienced. I just appreciate the way they describe it.
If I may also brag, I have a collection of items that Randy Meisner - the original Eagles bass player - autographed to me personally. All of them will be suitably framed and put over my desk in my new home. He's my favorite "ex-Eagle," because if you look at his lyrics, he's the only one that thought life might just go on after all.
