Promoting VOD (video-on-demand)

I've been looking around at VOD and I think that this is an area many webmasters unfortunately overlook when thinking of an alternate (or primary) affiliate program option.

VOD is good for many reasons. The "per month membership" is (and has been) on a steady decline in the past few years. Porn consumers are looking for less committment, and more discretion. VOD provides this since they purchase minutes and use them whenever they want, with no monthly committment. When their time runs out, they buy more minutes.

The re-curring money made by affiliates here is very lucrative indeed. In fact, if you were a VOD webmaster and you walked away from it right now, the residual, re-curring income would go on for a very long time. VOD consumers are VERY loyal.

Another great reason to promote VOD: evidence!
One of the best selling niches on VOD is tranny. Nobody wants tranny videos hanging about on their hard-drives, right? The consumer watches them on the fly, when they want to watch them, without fear that *anyone* will find the skeleton on their closet on the desktop of their machine. (I use tranny/shemale purely as an example.)

Raised some good points - I always said that a good friend will come to your funeral - a best friend runs to your home to wipe your hard-drive and computer history while everyone is at the funeral

VOD does have many benefits for those that are constantly looking over their shoulders
