I have read that iPhone competitor Android Mobile will be coming up with a true blue, honest to goodness porn app store called MiKandi. One of the big deal about this is that Android will have no restrictions on content. Just as long as the content is 2257 legal. Another thing is that MiKandi can be move in different platforms like Google Mobile and the Blackberry.

Knowing how very difficult it is to move ones content in iPhone, would you seriously consider investing on content for the Android early on? And do you think Android will be good on their word about not interfering with content?

I have a hard time trusting anyone's word when it comes to sex and money or power. Remember the TV ad for Mac where Windows guy is saying, "trust me?" throughout the years?

Though I realize that adult content is a growing business on cells - you may be limiting yourself to ONE particular Android Mobile who (to my understanding) aren't as popular plus keep in mind the % of those who own the phone's that will access the content.

Depending on cost I would seriously do more research and have them convince you it's worth while or get it in writing their conditions - not knowing is the worst position to be in

If you really want to be in this space you need to be cross platform compatable, until a clear competition of the Iphone is etched out.
Android will grow extremely fast and their phone are way cheaper than Iphones, if their claims are true that they will allow adult content with-in legal restrictions, then this is a viable alternative with a payment gateway attached to it.

I'd focus more on making your paysites "m.friendly.com" than investing in developing mobile based apps. I could see this being a hot idea for a VOD based site like hotmovies or something.

I agree with making your site m. friendly, but I see people are only making them iphone.friendly and calling it m. friendly HUGE difference and leaving oney on the table.

Apps development is neither difficult nor costly, the submission process is a pain in the ass though.
