I bought this 5 DVD set over the weekend.

FINALLY some SCTV is out on DVD. It took long enough! This is by far some of the funniest sketch comedy ever. I remember watching it in the late 70s early 80s and laughing like mad back then. This stuff was so good that much of it was inspiration for the glory days of the people on SNL.

I recommend it.. Who else is a fan?

Sounds interesting. I had to ask what the show was because I've never seen it. I absolutely loved certain seasons on SNL, so I probably would've been a huge fan of SCTV.

Funny funny stuff.. way better than SNL these days. Who writes that crap these days, anyway??

In the mid-90's they lost all their best writers. They haven't had much good stuff since then.
