Finally a sober St-Pattys day!

I know St-Pattys isn't officially till the 17th, but today was the parade and I stayed sober. AMAZING! Helps that I was working though.

If I can survive till friday without getting shitfaced, I guess I can drop the Alcoholic title. WOOHOOO!

My father died when I was nine months old and I haven't had too much contact with his side of the family. I always thought I was Russian and Polish.

Much to my surprise two years ago we laid my grandmother to rest, and it was more or less the first time I faced that side of the family as an adult. I also met the "family historian" and discovered - gasp - I was Irish.

So every year I drink in my father's name.

Yeah, I'm getting shitfaced.
