Totally agree - hell there are American's who refuse to believe we won the war of 1812 against the American's or even burned the White House. I respect pride in ones country - but to change history to suit your pride is silly. American's have many things to be thankful for - but Canada does as well along with admitting that a few things that America claims really belong to us. Even Avril or Shatner I remember some American's getting totally annoyed that they were from Canada when they found out. Whatever you do - don't tell the older ones that mary pickford (America's Sweetheart) is actually from Canada
