Ok, I'm so stoked about this one! I will be interviewing The Legacy on Monday of next week! Woooohoooo!
He will be answering business related questions so what would you ask The Legacy?
I would ask him about his background as a novice priest studying in the seminary and what brought him
into the biz from such a background. I find that very fascinating.
Before I got into the biz I had to think really hard about it morally due to my religious beliefs and
I came to the conclusion that it is absolutely fine within the tenets of my belief system.
He is a very wise man in the ways of this biz and also within life and this should be a very good
interview. I'm looking forward to it as well.
Wow, thank you guys so much for the wonderful questions. I'm noting them now.
As far as an air date the show will launch on the 22nd of this month and Robert if my first "official" guest for the show.
Ask him about his early days in the industry when he used his sexual ambiguity to gain certain favors with his not-so-straight side colleagues.
Many years later looking back over this I should answer this question.
The sexual ambiguity was really acceptance and respect for everyone no matter what age race or sexual way of life they are. If there were favors my ONLY guess was that it was first not intentional but secondly that those who worked with me from all walks of life appreciated in a world filled with hate - someone who never saw them as anything else than a friend. I never held anything or saw anything other than the real person in front of me - and honestly - that is a good reason to work with someone don't you think?
After being in the business so long which one is more important for longevity : people skills or technical skills?
God I miss you Cyndalie -and in answer to your question as strange a it sounds - people skills. Noe 32 years in the business it's always been that its not that I know everything but sure as hell I do know those who do.
You can be the best if your field - but if no one knows you - or likes you then they wont work with you. That doesn't mean you stop learning and growing in our craft - but i put more weight on people and network as they will keep you alive and working
