How many of your neighbors, friends and family know what you do for a living ?

As for me I keep it on the down low.

I do search engine optimization for both adult and mainstream. All of my friends and the cool family members know about the adult side of it, it's just not an issue.

That's cool! Only my immediate family and close friends actually know I run TGP's etc. I like to keep everything private. Esp with my neighbors.

my parents don't know. sister/bro-in-law do. most of my friends know, but i try to get them to keep their mouth shut.

my gf's parents would flip if they knew.

wifes parents have a small bit of knowledge but they are avid catholics

I'm a very private person. I'm not an open book. I always was and always will be. As far as my neighbors, tunnel visioned relatives, the cashier at Tim Horton's, my hair stylist..., who cares what they know and what they don't? I'm an adult. If I want to get paid to promote porn sites and optimize them for better rankings, then I will.

If I know certain relatives would be offended, if the neighbor thought porn was a sin, ... , then you simply don't tell them. Unless, you want to get a rise out of someone or want to get into the discussion of whether or not you will rot in "hell" for your actions...

I never did understand people, especially in salons, who tell everyone around them everything. Nothing is sacred. All topics are fair game. Even if you have only met this person like 5 minutes ago. Most of the time, it's not even alcohol induced.

Ok... that was bit of a rant, but I feel much better now.

I also keep it on the down low. But then again I keep all my shit on the down low. I only tell people what they need to know, which is not much.

They know...I'm sure they thought we were drug dealers or something at first....lol Since we don't leave the house to go to work everyday...Eventually we got to know them and we have the BEST neighbors now they even tag along at our parties when the show is in town

The only ones that DON'T know precisely what I do are my kids. I will wait until they are old enoughh to understand before I tell them.

And yeah, my neighbors thought I was a drug dealer so now THEY all know too.
