USB Micro Drives
What do you use yours for?
I have had a 2 gig Sandisk for several months now and haven't yet put it to good use. I'm not really sure what to do with it.
Suggestions?

I don't have one, I don't need one. I bought an external hard drive though... 500 gigs! I had two computer but one decided to die on me and I can't make back ups anymore but I only need one computer so an external was the best way to go.
It's great, cheap and fast and relatively portable too. Fits in a briefcase easily.
Sophie.

Put some porn on it and bring it to your inlaws to show everyone at a family gathering. Thats what I would do.

Portable Apps is your friend. You can have all your daily tools, settings, passwords, applications, your entire desktop environment that you are familiar with stored on a USB device. You can take it and plug it into any host computer. Once you unplug it from the host computer, there is no trace. No temp files or footprints are left behind.

I looked at Portable Apps.
It appears that the program is huge. I'm a little hesitant to install it.

It's not. I have it on a 1gig and only used about half the space. You just pick and choose what programs you want on it. You can always try it and if you don't like it, just delete it.

I use mine to store music on so I can take it to work. I also will use it to trade pics/videos with friends.
