i haven't downloaded stuff in a while. i used to use kazaa before all of this stuff went down about stealing music etc. is limewire free or are you guys "illegally" using it?

Unless something has changed in the law very recently it's not illegal to download MP3's in Canada

I actually don't know about movies but mp3s
can be downloaded legally.

Thats why they added an extra tax to mp3 players in Canada about a year ago.

oh yeah downloading is fine but I don't know if they resolved the uploading issue so that part might not be legal

You just aren't finding what you are looking for? I think the legal gesturing scared a lot of people, so there aren't as many people sharing anymore. Those types of networks only work well when a lot of people are sharing.

A lot of people in europe still share and in Canada too I'm sure.

I really haven't had much problem finding what I want from limewire.

You have to let it sit there and download for 1/2 an hour sometimes but the stuff is there.

On the other hand sometimes it's downloaded in a few seconds.

The trick is to sort the results by "sources"
Choose those and you'll have what you want in minutes

yes it's the same as kazaa...limewire is illegal.
