My Vaio battery died

It's finished. Won't even charge itself anymore. I have to say it was never very strong to begin with. Even when it was new, my Vaio never gave me much more than about an hour on the battery which leads me to believe it may have been weak in the first place.

Anyway, the other day I walk into the Sony store and they quote me $250 for a new battery. I check on Ebay from a very reputable seller and I got one for about $50. It just doesn't have the Sony name on it, but it's a replacement battery that repair shops use. Ebay rocks!

I had a horrible experience and have been hesitant to use ebay...
Tried to buy a Digital Rebel for 800.00 bucks, at the time a great deal, NO Camera, never nothing, file scam reports nothing

I have been lucky. Overall ebay is great but you really do have to make your purchases from reputable people with a lot of positive feedback.

Don't even get me started on VAIO. I ain't buyin' any SONY electronics if I can help it.

I got my battery and it's great! I think my original one was defective to begin with.
