I have a friend who one of the names that was considered for their child would have resulted in the initials A.S.S. I was actually half tempted not to point that fact out, just to see how long or if anyone caught on, but I couldn't. The poor kid would've been damaged for life.

I actually played soccer with a kid named Michael Hunt. We were about 7 years old though, so it didn't mean anything until I saw Porky's.

i'll prefer simple names for my children-to-be, i don't want them to be complicated that would complicate their lives as well

I once worked with an Asian guy named "Hung Long"

Also another Asian guy I worked with, his name was Porn. Never have I met a person with a different name like this, but then I worked with these guys.

There was a guy in my grand'pa's village named Hildephonse Laporte.

Hildephonse is consonnant with "il défonce", i.e. "he smashed-out"

Laporte is a family name which means, litterally, "the door".

I never understood why his father had named him that way. In those days, a hundred years ago, fathers decided of a lot of things...

While writing that little blurb, I now wonder if it wasn't the mother who picked up his name.

You guys know jact content right? And the two owners... jact and LadyMischief.

Well, LadyMischief's real name is Treasure Hunt.

Her parents obviously had a sense of humour.

( I hope LadyM doesn't mind me sharing, since she's poster her real name on the boards a few times already )
