How many boards are you reading/posting-in?

How many boards are you reading/posting-in? (Besides XNations ofcourse

)
Do you consider boards waste of time (just do it for the fun) or time well spent (good business practice)?
How do you usually sift through the threads? By title? Author? read ALL the ones you didn't yet?
If you theoretically could do it easily and with no much effort and extra-time- would you cover more boards?

If you want to check out a bunch of boards at once, you can always go to All of Em and view a recap of what's happening on the bigger ones (including X-Nations, of course).

I read bunches of boards, and actively particpate on a number of them. I have selected most of my sponsors and one of my hosts from the boards. I scan threads by subject, although I look at threads posted by individuals as well.

As far as are they productive or a waste of time, that depends on the day - actually, it depends on me.

Im on 6 chat boards. There might be a few others out there that would be worth posting on, but I see the same people posting when new boards pop up, so adding more boards to my list is probably not going to reach that many new people.

Each has its own feel, but some of the smaller ones feel the same :-) I feel I reach everyone that I need to reach on my 6.

I am a member on 5 boards and find them interesting for various reasons Each board has it 's own personality I usually check out the
threads that I find interesting or may have an impact on business

pornodoggy... I visit allofem.com on a daily basis to see what's happening on all of the boards.... it's very very valuable tool indeed

As for me, hmmm... I think there's 7 boards that I go to quite often. Only really 3 that I go to a lot.

Soon that will be going up though. I have my sights set on 3 other boards that I'll have to be posting at once my project is done

I check out 4 or 5 boards but I only really post on 3 of them. X-Nations is at the top of my list naturally!

PJ, XNations, FemaleWebmasters are my main ones.

Webmasterboard and GFY I go and read only when invited to a specific thread by other people.

i must go to about 8 or 9 boards daily checking things out. I have learned so much and made new contacts, as well as getting the word out about my content store, that I find it a valuable part of my day.

I'm a board whore. I'm a member of about 35+ boards. I only post on about 5-7 of those boards every single day. Some boards I'll read and post about once a week. Others, I post about every 2 weeks or so cuz they just don't get the traffic or the board isn't too active.

I scan the board by subject. Sometimes I read a particular thread just cuz I know who started the thread and I know it will be entertaining.

I read all of XNations threads. Partly because I'm a mod, and partly because this board is so active and we have a wide range of skill and experience in the membership.

I don't think the boards are a waiste of time. Business gets done, a few laughs are shared, and a person can learn from them as well. The boards are a universal tool that connects people that might not have met or done business otherwise. The boards aren't perfect. A reputation can be made and or broken by board "gossip", but they still are a valuable tool for the board owners and for the members as well.

So far, three boards that I actively post.

I don't consider the boards a waste of time. It's kinda fun and good for business.

Sifting through the threads seems to be my preferred method of reading.

I would definately cover more boards if time permitted.

I am more a reader then a poster...
I post here most, occaisionally Porno Junkies or Porn Keepers
