I Hate Earbuds!
OMG I hate hate hate them!
I'm trying to listen to music on my blackberry and the earbuds are nice but I cannot relax with things sticking in my ears!!! Maybe its just me, I hate things close to or in my ears - I don't even wear earrings.
UGH
How can people stand them!

I, on the other hand, can't the stand the sensation of cleaning my ears with cottonbuds. I buy those small ear scrapers.

It all depends on the ear buds for me...the ones that come with the iPod's really suck but the ones with the rubber tips are really comfortable and you can hear things you normally would not with the others....
Try These...you might like them better...

Earbuds drive me crazy too. I got a bluetooth for my bday and it is one that sticks in your ear and I can never leave it in for very long

You're talking about the kind of earphones that come with iPhones right?
Those I don't mind so much.
Cotton balls or any raw cotton on the other hand... drives me nuts. I can't touch it at all.

I wear them when I workout at the gym. At first, I couldn't stand them. It's just the feeling of something in my ear that bothered me. Eventually, I got used to them and don't mind them so much.
As for Q-tips / cotton swabs, I can't stand them in my ears. The only thing Q-tips are good for is blending eye shadow or softening an eye liner line. I can remember being a kid and having an ear ache, which resulted in mom putting drops in my ears and then a cotton ball. Freaked me out. To this day, I can't stand cotton in my ears.

I don't mind swabs, it's the sticking something in and letting it sit there that drives me edgy!
