Just rode a Segway...its pretty cool!

These things are pretty damn cool. Its strange when you first get on but you ge tthe hang of it pretty quick. I can't wait to go cruising around the French Quarter in them.

There are different keys that control the speed. The first one I got on went only 6mph but with a different key with went up to 12mph and it seemed pretty fast.

No, its powered off of batteries that last a good amount of time and some gyroscopic balancing system, not exactly sure how it work.

Definitely! We were like a bunch of kids on them yesterday. Any cars passing were slowing down to check them out, kids were coming outside to check them out...its was pretty funny.

They are a lot of fun. Yesterday, 5 of us were riding around the french quarter on them. They get a lot of attention. We've got 5 more on the way so next weekend me might be 10 deep...lol. The Segway Posse!
