I thought I might be, but I grabbed the fix for it, and found that I wasn't infected after all.

Nifty little tool. I haven't got it either, but I'm pretty anal about downloading and installing every Win patch as soon as it comes out. I've seen at least a couple of people posting about getting it who are also quite fond of ranting about the evils of Microsoft and going on about how they don't trust them.

It's not a patch. It's just a special scanning device that Symantec is giving away for free for this particular worm virus.

Nothing to install, just run it and it checks your sytem for the virus.

I thought I was too!

Connor got an email from "me" as the from info with it! I freaked out!!

Until our programmer chris told me how it works ... this is what it does

It exploits someone you know that runs outlook.

It then auto-sends itself out using the address book for both the TO: AND FROM: addresses!! SNEAKY!

So you may get a mail with it from someone you know, but they didnt necc. send it - someone you BOTH know has it!

Not infected, but gosh damn I keep getting shady emails and I just delete delete.
