THis is sort of an odd story. I actually run about 20 automotive websites which use google for the advertising. Well in my websites I have "hotties" sections where people can post up adult material. These sections have exploded with traffic in the past few months and google didn't like that, so I had to start a new forum for just the hotties section (I hope you follow all of that). So now what i'm looking for are some good cpm banner programs to join so I can make some cash on the traffic coming through. Can anyone make any suggestions for good programs to join?

I don't think there actually are any click thru programs that are worth it any more. Maybe amateur pages - http://www.amateurmoney.com - and the only pay per impression programs use nasty and irritating audio ads, etc. like http://www.mtree.com . But mostly they don't pay great and they often have a shitload of popups and such which can cause you to lose traffic. Since you are getting your traffic through mainstream sites I think you will want to be extra careful that you don't send them into pornsite popup hell. In adult I think the best money is in the per signup or partnership programs and they usually will let you have better control on what happens to your traffic.

THank you for the advice, that is sort of the thought I had had as well. I'm wondering how to maximize profit from the traffic since it is from my mainstream sites. Maybe a couple cpa programs like you suggested and a couple regular cpm programs non adult oriented .

Sounds like a good combo. You might also consider some of the semi-mainstream programs. Penis pills, the herbal stuff, etc. Definitely a lot more low key and usually easier on your traffic than out and out porn programs. Even sextoy/dvd sales could be good with that kind of traffic.
