Everybody's on Tom Cruise's case. I might be the only straight male Tom defender. NOW I see where he's coming from. The guy is being honest and saying what's on his mind. Everybody's against him cause he's acting different from what they expect from him. I say he's finally BEING himself in public. For years rumours were that he was gay, now we know he was just insane, and I finally find him interesting. I was bored of the polite "Cruise laugh" filled interviews before. Now he's himself. Probably will get ostrasized for it but too bad.

Good job Tom, freak em out even more! You'll still make tons of cash on the Top Gun reruns on the dish.

I lost all respect for him when he bashed Brooke Shields for taking anti depressants for post partum depression! I've been there I know how hard it can be (mean while you're suppose to be taking care of a new born baby) Honestly I think he's a JACK ASS! Don't talk about something you haven't experienced!!!! I have no problem with Scientology, but there's no need for him to expect us all to embrace his way of living!

Yeah, well that's like any religious fanatic. My friend was just telling me before that she couldn't buy a certain wedding card even though it was nice because it was made by a jewish guy, and the girl that's getting married is a muslim. She doesn't want anything made by a jewish person. That freaked me out! She was telling me that the girl won't watch Saturday Night Live because it's run by a jewish person. That to me is absolutely insane!

Religion has a way of fucking people up big time.

you've got a point McAttack and i agree with you on part of being himself but in some ways he shouldn't be displaying everything in public.

Tom is ok... he's being silly about being in love with Katie Holmes though because in a couple years it will all be over anyway in all liklihood.

But his scientology issues are plain stupid.

I'm afraid I just can't have respect for someone who is so involved in their own religion that they have to flame other peoples 'acceptable' choices (a la Brooke Shields, and his comments on Ritalin and also psychiatry being a pseudo-science

It's those who are that devout that cause the HATE problems in the world. It's a shame to see someone with his kind of power using it to further a religion that can only be pursued by those with money

I agree, I must be out of the loop. Im not down with whats up or up with whats down. How many times has this man been in love? I guess celebrity status gives you more chances or something

You know, I never really cared for Tom, either in his movies or interviews. But I think it's crazy how people get so caught up in the lives of celebs. Half the stuff you see in interviews and papers are all made up anyway. It's all part of the game to get you to see his movies.

agree, but for the sake of discussion, i have to say that tom cruise is being crazy regarding scientoloy issue. i lost respect on him.
