I am assuming you are talking about ppc where you get paid each time a surfer clicks through to your sponsor's site, like maybe 4 cents per click?
This is really no longer a viable option because every ppc program has forced ratios so if you are sending them unproductive traffic they will drop your rate to something minimalist like 1/100th of a cent per click. Plus when you do the math you will see that if you do meet their ratios you would be better off sending your traffic to a pps (pay per signup) program. Just be careful and read their terms!
