Pred's not going to Balsillie
Interesting. The deal for Jim Balsillie to purchase the Nashville Predators appears to have taken a nose-dive. The deal was set to close on June 30th (for some reason, I thought it was already done).
Now it appears its being sold for $50mil less than Balsillie was offering, and the plans are to move the team to Kansas City (bad fucking idea).
Honestly, what makes the NHL think KC can sustain the team? If it goes to KC, watch it re-locate in 5 years somewhere else.
