I have two questions and one comment.
1) Do you have the needed permissions to run CGI scripts from your cgi-bin on the new server?
2) Have you talked to JMB Software? They only charge $35 to install AutoRank Pro for you. I always have them install it for me as it saves a lot of headaches if there are problems with the Perl and Apache settings. Once it is installed, you should have no problems running the program after 6 years experience.
My next install will be AutoRank PHP. The program looks solid and I know PHP better than Perl. I also don't like flat file databases.
