Wings are a very evil food - I remember seeing the Weight Watchers chart on how many points wings equaled and realized they are packed with more calories and percentage of fat then almost any other food known to man. Chicken skin is very fatty and the oil wings suck up when they deep fried is more then you could imagine.

My current beef is with supermarket bought strawberries. They don't have a taste. I bought some local ones yesterday and they were exploding with yummy taste. I think those huge industrial like farms in California speed the process up too much of something to make them come out tasteless.

Hmmmm, food addiction would probably be any kind of good cookie, you know like bakery kinds or pepperidge farm ones.
Also love nuts, all kinds and damn pistachio's are my worse.
Prolly more a salt girl for junk food than sweets.
Thank goodness, I broke the fast food habit a few years ago. Now if the toys improve in the Happy Meals I could start back :-)

Help for the Food Addicted...
If you're concerned about your sugar addition, you might consider several things:
1. You might be suffering from excessive stress, and this is your body's way of getting you to raise your insulin levels so it can produce more seratonin. Go to the healthfood store and try to find some pharmaceutical grade Tryptophan. If you can't find that, try 5-HTP (sounds like code, but it's really a supplement), but don't take it at the same time you eat protein--since you're probably pigging out on sugar, this probably won't be a real problem, right?
2. You probably waited too long to eat something, and your brain is crying out for some nutrition--it runs on glucose. Keep healthy high protein, high fiber snacks like nuts, trail mix, etc near the computer and much a little here and there.
3. You've been eating too much sugar or processed food, and now you're suffering from rebound low blood sugar. Get some Glutamine from the healthfood store and try taking that with some healthy juice. It will feed your need and help to eliminate sugar/carbohydrate cravings.
Best regards!

How does dough expanding make it weigh more? When you blow up a ballon does it weigh more? The extra mass has to come from somewhere, and the only place it can come from is the grease.

Read the book "The Perricone Prescription", it has the most balanced approach to healthy eating and weight loss that I've seen come down the pipe. Add coconut oil to the list of healthy fats that you can/should eat. They don't cover that one in the book, if I recall correctly.
Also, if you have a sweet tooth, try Xylitol instead of sugar to sweeten foods. It doesn't have the glycemic index of sugar, and actually is good for you.
Regards,
Katherine
