Dude...i got a Dell and it's totally fucked!!
I just recieved my new Dell laptop! I'm all excited about it but when I try and turn it on I get a black screen.
The sucker is totally fried so I have to send it back to Dell! Man...I hate waiting...
Anyone else ever had problems with Dell?

You have to actually send it back to them?
You can't take it somewhere to be looked at? That sucks...
(Dude) I got my Mom a Dell a couple years ago for Christmas...
No problems with it to date...

Ive always built my own machines, why spend 2000 for a system i can build myself for 600 and have better shit in it then what comes on a pre-fabbed machine.
My last roomate had dells, hated them, they broke all the time, she eventually wound up just throwing it away and getting a gateway which isnt much better then dell

Every computer in my office is a Dell. We don't have many problems with them ever. We get good customer support. They fixed my old laptop for free even though it was out of warrenty for like 6 month. I'm happy with them.
I've also got a gateway as a personal computer, works pretty good too.

I know this is an old(er) thread, sorry.
"dude" I have all dells at work now, 30+ systems and they are pretty damn good. We had hardware problems on a few Gateway's, tons of config problems with HP's (I didn't order those). And I must say, dude, I am happy.

Dude, do some research and build your computer yourself dude, maybe it seems complicated at first but with the help of someone that knows what he is doing it's quite fun and you'll know what's in your machine dude.

Man I love my Dells.. maybe I've just been lucky though. I think I probably own enough Dell equipment for all of us. And my Dell notebook? Fuck, it rocks... Light as a feather
