Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
I went to see it on Saturday night.
I'm confident that my review will be like most others.
Too long and hard to follow. The first one was much better.
They're really building up for the next chapter too.
ARR!

I saw it friday with shedevil - we had a blast and a really good time. It's disney and I was actually suprised at how some scary scenes were left in like the birds eating out the corpses eyes. eeeww.
It is a must see, and definitely a great story.

Like with most movies, I'll wait for the DVD to come out. I can't bear movie theaters and the thought of being in one for 3 hours is intolerable. It's too hot here at night to go to the drive-in, too.
I do love Johnny Depp, though, the "King of Quirk." He was fantastic in the first movie.
The only movie of his I refuse to see is the remake of "Willie Wonka." The original needed no improvement whatsoever.

Morgan, he's pretty good in "Wonka". I too appreciate the original, but this version is quite all right. Mind you, I've only gotten halfway through it a couple of times now.
That's the trouble with watching a movie with a toddler. Sometimes it takes several attempts to make it all the way through. LOL

Chris...then your luck runs out and the child will sit through the same movie over...and over...and over again. *sigh* I hold the North American Land Record for watching the "Wizard of Oz." That and "The Brave Little Toaster" made me want to put my foot through the television set....

Funny, My brother almost made me sick every time he watched harry and the hendersons. and my sister did the same with the wayne's world obsession.
Fortunately I don't think I ever really did that... at least I dont' remember having an absolute favourite movie that i watched all the time whe nI was younger.

Hello, my sweetie!
Oh, yes. "Harry and the Hendersons" was on the "fave" list, too.
I once asked a psychiatrist if it was normal for small children to repeatedly watch one film over and over. He said yes, it was. A small child actually doesn't know that it's going to end the same way every time and repeated watchings are their way of reaffirming that life can be predictable and constant....before they grow up and that theory flies out the window never to be seen again.

I had completely forgotten about Harry and the Hendersons until you mentioned it.
The only thing I'm a little tired of watching now is Chip & Dale cartoons. They get a lot of play.
On the other hand, I've watched Toy Story over and over and I still get a kick out of it.
