If it's the same package I've seen at TripleX (??) then it's pretty cool, should bring some good joy and jerking to your members

Ummm, ok, just checked the original rules of the contest again and it seems I'm not eligible to win that prize, since I don't operate a paysite and I don't work for someone who does. So, did I just lose my prize, or what?

Ok, let's see, can't I swap it with someone else who actually needs it? I could "auction" it off on this board and see what I get for it. How about that? I'm pretty sure it would be good exposure for all parts involved, including myself.

Sorry guys, but the socalstreams prize is going back in the pot to be given away to another person.
To quote the rules:
Quote:
Some prizes (marked with a *) require that you own or operate a paysite or work for a company that can make use of these prizes.
|
The socalstreams prize is one of these prizes.
I only allowed Taass to hold his own "mini contest" for it because he asked me to, but I should have just put it back in the pool of prizes as I am doing now.
Sorry for the mixup.

Hehe, sure, why not? Free stuff is free stuff.
Although I must suggest that, for future contests, the winners should be able to receive their prizes and swap them off, if not needed. I mean, after all, if anyone enters the contest with the intent to win it, they shouldn't be given a prize and then have it taken away just because of silly things like not operating paysites. Either that or make separate contests specifically for paysite owners.

OMG! Some of the stuff posted in this thread is hilarious!
I have to admit though. That kitten laugh was my favorite! I laughed so hard, I had tears rolling down my face! I just couldn't stop laughing!

Well.. At least cash won't give that many problems
Maby there could have been some kinda replace prize for those not running paysites, but then again they are giving away this stuff for free so it's hardly worth nagin over
Please get in touch with EvilChris Or Funbrunette for the $100, okay ?

Thanks, I'll be in touch with them.
And no, I'm not nagging over the free prize. I'm just trying to make a point. The contests are supposed to have promotional value for the people trying to win the prizes, the ones who give away the prizes and the ones who run the contests (the owners of this board). Setting up a contest in which everyone can participate but only some of the participants could win the prize, is not good promotion. Or at least not too me. And yes, I'm aware of the fact that I look like a cry-baby because I didn't get my prize (although, again, that's not the reason I'm posting this), but the fact remains that anyone allowed to enter the contest should also be allowed to win, IMO.

You don't look like a cry-baby or nagger to me. You are a member who is stating their point of view. Nothing wrong with that.
