Well, Bhelliom you need not worry about who's to play England. Sorry about that elimination. I think it could have gone either way but I have to tell you that I expected England to play better than they did. Portugal really turned their game on too.

The big game this week will be Germany and Italy. Although I am cheering for Germany, I see a slight edge to Italy but it's the World Cup, and anything can happen. Case in point... France once again defeating Brazil!

Hey thanks. I was pissed England played like shit.. .but with their three top players out of the match.... there wasn't really a whole lot they could do.

Germany and Italy will be a good game today. My money will be on a tie match with Germany winning in penalty kicks. I'm now cheering for france as my Girlfriend is from just outside of Paris. That was the deal... if our team got eliminated we had to cheer for the other... so now i'm stuck on the france bandwagon. Have to say I was very surprised they beat Brazil.

Game is only about 20 minutes away.

I think your assessment of a tie game with Germany winning on penalties is quite probable.

Unless it's a complete blowout by Italy! LOL
In any case, I'm still cheering for German.
