The special effects in those movies are both really kewl. I thought the movies were well made. 1 & 2 of both those movies kept my attention. I've watched them again a few times now.

I can't wait to see movie #3...

As for HP vs LoR. HP is much more different than LoR. Different time, different storyline, different world. I wouldn't compare them...

Nah, you need to make this thread more specific ... make it 'harry potter' vs 'frodo baggins' ...

or put wizard vs wizard, 'prof dumbledoor' vs 'gandalf' ...

it'll be like the 'freddy vs jason' movie ...

Haven't seen Harry Pothead and the Sorcerer's stoned. A bit too childish for me. Seen the first two Lotr movies, they were ok I'd watch them again if I'm bored.
