I read a previous thread by fish on starting an amateur adult website and found very helpful information by MisterX and everyone else.

I have a couple of questions, since this was not extensively covered in fish's thread.

I have already started an amateur porn website, but I've yet to shoot the video clips of couples having sex. I want to know if anyone knows or can give ideas on rates on how much to pay the models for their sessions?

I've read MisterX's response on fish's thread specifying that the giong rate is $100 for a model in Montreal, but that was for photo shoots, but would anyone know the going rate(s) in Los Angeles, CA for video and/or would there be incremental rates as far as what the model is willing to perform on video?

Also, does anyone have any great tips in finding or on how to advertise to find the models for the video shoots?

How much a couple will charge is like how long is a piece of string.

Agents will get as much as they can from a newbie, because they know their survival rate is low.

I'm told in LA the going rate is $1,000 for the girl and around $400 for the boy. These are pros, look good and can perform in front of a camera.

But you might get a couple cheaper, depends on how much they want/need the work.

Solo girls will charge around $100 an hour and up.

Advertise in the local free papers, where the people you want to find would look for a part time job.

let's be realistic .. 100$ for girl even in Montreal doesn't happen everyday . 100$ shoot would mean 1 hour, Soft core/Semi Nude .. Photos only .. I haven't seen those prices since back in 2002.

For an amateur site you will need sex scenes .. Figure most guys in LA go for $300 + A scene while most women go for $800 + a scene .. Straight sex, no Anal with Condom and tests ... anytheing else you're looking at higher cost .. Make sure to let them know its for web release only, u might want to have that Stipulated in your Release form too .. Most peeps feel Web Only content can go for a lower price. Of course this is General .. You' might find some for cheaper or for more, all depends on your popularity, professionalism and Ease of sale ... Get to know the local Agents, get in good with them, they are your new Best friend

Still, I'm not sure if $800 to pay a girl is realistic for a sex scene, since I'll be filming totally amateur sex, either on a couch, bedroom, shower, etc. for chics that I will be picking up out on the streets or a club (non-professional). Good example: http://www.netvideogirls.com

It's really not your choice .. it's what the Market is baring right now ...
How ever there are a few solutions to your problem .. First would be if it's true amateur content you can always do trades with actual amateur Webmasters/preformers .. But it doens't seem from your post that this is your Option ..

Second .. Crack whores .. With a little make up, some skin toner you might just be able to get 3 scenes fro $300
