Default HABS #1 in the Eastern Conference
Just got back from the game with Evil and the Habs are officially #1 now in the east after beating New Jersey 2-1!

Woo Hoo!

This is the first time the Canadiens have been first in the conference after the All-Star break since March 1993 - the last time Montreal won the Stanley Cup.

Feels great to be back in Montreal and see that kind of hockey again.

BTW in 93 I was there when the won the Stanley Cup, greatest game i've ever seen and weird/fucked up riot on Ste-Catherine after the game. I had to bail quickly as it was getting way to intense.

Oh and I guess since they knew in LA Montreal would win they decided to paint the CH logo on the ice

Huh? The cup was won in Montreal at the Forum in 93. I walked in the "parade" until Bishop street.
