Anyone else in this damn storm???

I'm right in New Orleans, bored, stuck in my house. At least my cable is working, (crossing my fingers). Anyone else stuck in this thing? I know a bunch of you are canadians...got an extra room fir the night?

Well, I can't even make it 6 blocks away to my local bar.
Plus I just found out that there's a 10pm cerfew. Glad I didn't get caught, hehehe.

Any power outages in your area Luke?

Ah! Someone else is here, thought I was talking to myself, hehe.

I haven't had any power out. Mike said his went out a while ago, and he just popped offline again so he might be out again.

Funbrunette and I live on a small island in Montreals west end suburbs.
We lose power all the time dammit. I mean, it only has to rain a little too hard and poof.... We always have a supply of candles and fondue fuel on hand...
I need to get me a big UPS before winter hits.

I just hope I didn't jinx myself saying that the power hasn't gone out for me yet.

We just had loads and loads of rain here in NY..which I suppose is from the storm to the south. Would not want to live where there are hurricanes and tornadoes. I think summer is finally over .

Yeah, I made it just fine. No major damage but did flood in some places a lot. Yesterday our office was closed so I helped clean up tree branches at my mom's house then went down to the French Quarter and drank. Was a pretty decent day off.

That hurricane really wasn't nearly as bad as some of the others I've seen!
