my question is quite simple are you only allowed to film porn movies in califorina and what constitutes a porn movie and is a documentary the same as a porn movie?, this is why im asking if anyone has hbo and watches america under cover series hookers at the point , and dope sick love there are some sexual acts that are dippicted but filmed in NYC , and some adult sites produce films in florida. would a reality type movie be considered a porn movie or a documenary educational . or are they one in the same , are there any porn producers in new york city ? and what is the going rate for paying an amateur to appear in a reality flick?

There's no laws or zoning on where you can make movies. Stuff is shot in certain areas because of the talent, it's as simple as that. For DVD, California is very popular. On the internet, Florida is big, Vancouver and montreal as well. Reality is still porn. Sure you can bill it as a documentary, but you'd sell more of it if it was porn. It wasn't a Paris Hilton "A night in the life of" documentary that was everywhere, it was her sex tape.
